Cohabitation is a model of residential community living that houses three or more biologically unrelated people living in the same housing unit. In general, cohabitation is a type of intentional community that provides shared housing to people with similar values or intentions. The experience of living together may simply include group discussions in common areas or weekly meals, although it often extends to shared work space and collective efforts, such as living more sustainably. An increasing number of people around the world are choosing to live together to obtain the same benefits as other models of living together (such as communes or shared housing), such as comfort, affordability and a greater sense of social belonging.
The Node Living journey, led by visionaries like David Drews, is more than a business effort. It is a movement that seeks to redefine urban life for a new generation. As we face the complexities of modern life, concepts of home, community and sustainability continue to evolve, and companies like Node are at the forefront of this transformation. The design team of this living space discovered that the site has a very small area, is located in a crowded urban space and will be used as a commercial building.
